The Appointments Program is an easy-to-use appointments diary
which has a number of facilities developed in the course of my
use of previous versions daily for six years. It can be set up
to show imminent appointments every time you switch on your PC.
It has a flexible user interface.

Download the installation package Appsetup.exe, double-click on
it and it will install the program files in
c:\Program Files\Appointments Program
or the folder of your choice.

The Recipe Conversion Program is freeware.

The Recipe Conversion Program is an easy-to-use way of converting your favourite recipes from old measures to grammes and millilitres. While you are doing this you can also change the quantities, so that the final version will have a rational quantity of any ingredient you choose.

YOU CAN

• Input any number of ingredients
• Choose from most old measures, such as teaspoonfuls
• Input simple fractions, such as 1/4
• Print out your list of ingredients
• Save your list of ingredients in a file

Download the file Recsetup.exe to any convenient folder, then double-click on it to install the program.

The Encryption Program is freeware.

The Encryption Program encrypts and decrypts files, using a key agreed between the sender and the recipient. For confidential material this is desirable because e-mail can be intercepted and read easily, and has been described as the equivalent of sending a postcard through the mail!

YOU CAN

• Encode simple text, .rtf, Word documents, graphics files and most other types
• Keep a key in a file or input it direct
• Use any length of key and any characters
• Agree simple keys by telephone using a familiar phrase
• Vary the encryption method (V 2.0)
• Display simple text messages without saving to file

Download the file ENCsetup.exe to any convenient folder, then double-click on it to install the program. Full instructions will be found in Encryption Instructions.rtf

Have you noticed how excessively protective some Internet Servers have become? Have you tried sending an attachment to a friend, only to have it blocked, even though you had changed its extension? Disguise is a little program I have written to overcome this by jumbling up the file, so that any distinguishing characteristics which would give its type away are unlikely to be detected. If the recipient runs the jumbled file through the program again, it will be restored to its original form.
